for anyone i know from SF who voted Yes on Proposition C, i consider you a demolisher and straight up h8er (WITH AN EIGHT!) of what San Francisco is. No, i don't like tourists, because they're a bother, but i'll admit that it's hella awesome that so many want to come to my city. Alcatraz attracts around 1.4 million people a year. why would you want to take that away? the San Francisco Bay Guardian puts it the best: "People don't have to support everything with peace in the title."
What's next, changing Fisherman's Wharf to Freedom Wharf? Cable Cars into Pacifistmobiles? Changing Lombard Street to Harmony Way?
